Trace PNG bitmap images into scalable SVG vector graphics -- choose from detailed, posterized, grayscale, and artistic styles.
Upload or drag & drop a PNG image you want to vectorize
Pick a preset like Detailed, Posterized, Grayscale, Sharp, Curvy, or Artistic
Preview the traced vector and download the SVG file
Choose from seven tracing styles -- Default, Detailed, Posterized, Grayscale, Sharp, Curvy, and Artistic
See the original and traced SVG side-by-side so you can compare results before downloading
Switch between presets and re-trace instantly without re-uploading your image
All tracing happens in your browser -- your images never leave your device
Bitmap tracing (vectorization) converts pixel-based raster images into vector paths made of curves and lines. The result is an SVG file that can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
The SVG is an approximation. Simple graphics, logos, and icons trace very well. Photographs will look stylized or posterized because vector paths cannot reproduce every pixel.
For logos and icons, try Sharp or Detailed. For photos, Posterized or Artistic gives a stylized look. Grayscale is great for black-and-white artwork.
Yes! The output is a standard SVG file that can be opened in Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, or any vector editor.
SVG size depends on image complexity. Simple logos may produce 10-50KB SVGs. Detailed photographs can produce very large SVGs (several MB) because every color region becomes a vector path. Simpler images trace more efficiently.
